Carmel CC Euro Twenty 20
Carmel & District Cricket Clubs iprestigious invitational Twenty20 tournament was a tremendous success last week. A week of excellent cricket played in the true spirit of the game culminated in a thrilling final between the Czech Republic and Estonia with Estonia passing the Czech Republics 122 total with three balls to spare.
Each national cricket team that took part has committed to return next year to Carmel’s Pen-y-Gelli ground which will again play host to the national cricket teams of Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Russia and Slovakia as part of the eight-team tournament which will also feature Carmel CC, and two new invitational sides, one a new national representative side.
